Walter Harrifield visited re- cently with relatives in Hagers- ville,and attended the wedding of a nephew in Dunnville. Tom Galbraith and Mrs. Flor- ence Jeffrott of Burlington called on Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Miller on Thursday. A surprise party wa held Fri- day evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gibson in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Carl D'Arcey, the occasion being their 10th wedding anniversary. About 26 guests were present. Mrs. Anson Ruttan spent one day last week in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Russel Ruttan and Mary Lou ' attended the wedding of the latter's niece Sat- urday in London. Among those from here attend- ing the Lions Club convention parade Sunday in Kitchener were Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Johnston, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Dinsmore, Laurie and Caroline, Mrs. Elsie Strong and Verna Galbraith, Mr. and Mrs. Wray Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Douglas, Gary, Paul and Greg. Gordon Campbell of Winnipeg, and -Miss Tena Campbell of To- ronto were weekend guests with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Williamson. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Johnston and Gary Douglas attended the Schomberg Fair on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Smith of Ypsalanti, Mich pent the h Ii - day weekend and Mks. Harold Doig. u Ars. R. S. McMorran of Hamilton were guests at the same home this past week. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wendt of To - ronto spent the weekend with Mrs. E. A. Schaefer. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Dinsmore are attending the Nursing Homes spring workshop at Geneva Park on Lake Couchiching, at Orillia, from May 28-31. Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs. George Pittendreigh were Mr. and Mrs. Andy Masson of To- ronto. Peter Browne was confined to hospital in Walkerton several days last week.
