Also if a piece does not go off you can let it stand for awile and continue the show from the other base. If portable firing bases are not available dig holes in the ground. being sure each firework is firm- ly supported before firing. • Bury long fireworks at least half way down lathe firing base. set at a 10 degree angle away from the spectators. Light at arm's length. If firework does not go off let it sit for several minutes in the base then douse with water and place it in the refuse container. Don't attempt to relight it. The refuse container with water should be placed between the firing bases and all used fireworks placed in it after firing.
