The family was all present for the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Young and family were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Struthers and family of Lucknow. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Steer were recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Peter Steer and Tracy of London. Mr. and Mrs. Willis Kalish and family of Wroxeter were Sunday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Moore and family. Somefrom here on Saturday evening attended the Swinger Square Dance graduation exer- cises held for the junior club at the Lucknow Public School. • Miss Janette Johnston of Lon- don spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Johnston. Joe Tiffin was at a musicians3 business meeting at St. Marys on, Thursday evening. Visitors on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Russel McGuire and Brian were Mr. and Mrs. Ken- neth Teed, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Teed and Gary Teed of Duncan, Mr. and Mrs. Larry McGuire, Merril and Cameron Martin of Elmira and Elmer McGuire of Toronto. Wilford and John Clipperton and Fred Tiffin on Monday after- noon attended the funeral of Hen- ry Cousins of Thorndale RR 2, a brother-in-law of Mrs. pessie Mullis. Mrs. Mullis went to be with her sister, Mrs. Cousins;' earlier in the week. Mr. and Mrs. John L. Currie spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Currie of Wing - ham to celebrate their little son, David's, second birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Rantoul were Sunday visitors With Mr. and Mrs. Bill Sproule of Kimberly. On Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. Ewart MacPherson of. Lucknow also visited with them To celebrate Stephen Tiffin's fifst birthday, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bevin Tiffin and he visited with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dani.Tiffin on Sun- day. Mr. and Mrs. Garnet Farrier and Mrs. Eunice Gillespie were at Seaforth Sunday afternoon .where they visited with Rev. and Mrs..t're Stewart, it being the oc- casion of his 65th anniversary since his induction as a minister. This community extends con- gratulations to Mr. Stewart who ministered at Chalmers, White- church and Langside in 1914. Mr. and Mrs. Garry Duncan of Port Credit spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Millan Moore. The Wingham Fire Depart- ment was called,to a fire on Sat- urday at the farm of Milas Ste. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Mc- Clenaghan also attended the cele- bration. Jamieson Pettapiece suffered a stroke last week at Wingham and District Hospital where he has been a patient for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Craig of Scarborough are spending a few days with her sister, Mrs. Robert Ross. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. George Ross and Cheryl of Owen Sound, Mr. and Mrs. Russel Rgss and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ross and family -also visited with her.
