Ladles defeat

Last Wednesday was the day
the senior ladies met the senior
men in their third annual bowling
tournament. Twenty-four
bowlers took to the lanes at 2:30
p.m.
The men were hoping for a win
this year after being on the losing
side for two years, but after all
the scores were in and checked
very closely the ladies were
again declared the winners.

fifth meeting was held at the
home of Evelyn Dickson. The 4-H
motto was repeated and the
minutes of the last meeting were
read by Evelyn Dickson.
The main topics of discussion
for the night were trims, facings
and casing for elastic. The other
items mentioned were book
covers and ' the exhibit. How to
apply facings and applying trims
on a faced edge were dem-
onstrated by the leaders: Lunch
was served by Evelyn Dickson.
