WHITECHURCH — Mr. and
Mrs. V. Wybenga spent a little
time on Sunday afternoon with
the residents of Pinecrest Nurs-
ing Manor, to share with them the
joy of Easter.
Mr. Wybenga read the resur-
rection story and meditated on
the promise of life which is seen
in the empty tomb from which
Christ arose. Mr. and Mrs.
Wybenga then sang a duet, "In
the Garden".
Several Easter hymns were
song following which Mr.,
Wybenga closed with prayer.

this week mourned the loss of a
brother and si4er who passed

. Paul Willie died Saturday at
the home of Paul Kennedy at RR
2, Teeswater; he had been resid-
ing with his nephew for some
time.
Mr. Willie, who was in his 67th
year, was born in Culross Town-
ship, a son of ` the late Matthew
. Willie and his wife, the former
Magdalena Schiestel. He farmed
in Culross before `his retirement.
He never married.
He is, survived by nine sisters,
Mrs. Andrew (Rose) Detzler of
Culrgss Township; Mrs. H.
,(Mary) Olheiser of St. Marys;
Mrs. Stan (Agnes) Kennedy of
Kitchener; Mrs. Jim (Gertrude)
Kennedy of Teeswater; Mrs.
Frank (Hilda) Cronin of Tees -
water; Mrs. Lorne (Eva) Mc-
Glynn and Mrs. Walter (Mag-
dalene) McGlynn both • of Cul-
ross; Mrs. Bill (Ellen) Karl of
Hanover and Mrs. George
(Edna) Kestner of Walkerton.
Mrs. Herbert (Loretta) Pette -
place survived him by one day.
He was predeceased by one
brother and two sisters.

his body was conveyed to Sacred
Heart Roman Catholic Church
for service at 10:30 a.m. with

Mrs. Herbert Petteplace was
making funeral -arrangements
for her brother' on Sunday' when
she took suddenly ill aqd was
rushed • to the Bruce County Hos-
pital in Walkerton. She passed
away later the same day. She was
in her 63rd year.
Mrs. Petteplace was the :for-
mer Loretta Willie and was. also
born in Culross. Her husband
predeceased her several years
ago and in recent years she had
been making her home .with
members of her family.
She was affiliated with the
Teeswater United Church.
Left to mourn -her passing, be-
sides the aforementioned 'sisters,
are three' sons, Ken and Gordon.
of Teeswater and Clayton of For-
mosa; four daughters, Mrs,
`Chum' (Jean) Meyer of For-
mosa, Mrs. Jerry (Beverley)

Funeral service for Mrs. Pette-
place was held Wednesday at 2
p.m. at the MacPherson Funeral
Chapel. Rev. Arnold Proudof the
United Church officiated. Tem-
porary entombment followed in
the Teeswater Cemetery Chapel.
