ceeds will be used for a banquet

The draw is being sponsored by
the Minor Hockey Mothers'
Auxiliary and tickets may be
purchased from any mother of a

gaining favor
The incidence of rime in the
streets is said to be the reason
many people are getting big dogs,
some of the -household pet or mutt
variety, others which would rate
quite high at dog shows.
In regard to the latter, the
trend to big dogs is evident in the
increase of entries for the various
dog. shows which are part of the
Canadian National Sportsmen's
Show this year. It has been re-
ported that there are 328 more
entries in the working classes,
which includes most of the larger
breeds, than last year's list.
When it comes to larger dogs,
the popularity scale runs to Ger-
man Shepherds, Doberman Pins-
chers, Great Vanes, Boxers,
Rottweillers at,,, Bouvier des
Flandres and Rctrtvvers.

Rough play featured the game
between Wingham Midgets and
their arch rivals from Kincardine
last Friday with . Wingham
players spending 43 minutes in
penance while Kincardine logged
55 minutes in penalties.
When the teams got down to
