Q.; When a movie is classi-
fied as restricted, to what age
is it restricted?
A.: The Theatres Act states,
"No person apparently under 18
years of age shall be .permitted
to. purchase a ticket of admts-
sion or be granted admission to,
or permitted to remain in a
theatre where a film classified
as restricted entertainment is
• about to be, or is being exhib-
ited.
Q.: 1 heard where a young
person 14 years old was caught
driving and was charged for
driving without a licence, The
magistrate suspended his li-
cence. How could he do this
when the person did not have a
licence?
A.: The magistrate may,
under Section 24 of the High -
way Traffic Act, which states,
"A magistrate or justice of the
peace by whom a person is con-
victed of a contravention of
this Act, if the person convict-
ed is required to hold an opera-
tor's licence or a chauffeur's
licence and does not hold such
a licence, may declare him
disqualified to hold such a li-
cence for such time as the mag-
istrate or justice of the peace •
thinks fit and shall so -report
with the certificate of the con- .
viction to the Minister. " Sec-
tion 2 7 of the .Highway Traffic
Act states, " Whereby or under
the provisions of this Act a per-
mit or licence is suspended and
the person to whom the s.uspen-
sion applies is not the holder of
a permit or licence, as the
case may be, such person shall
be deemed for all the purposes
of this Act to be a person whose
permit or licence, as the case
may be, 'has been suspended. "

standard OHSIP contract on a non-profit basis,

services from your agent, you, can arrange for

coverage will continue without interruption provided you

August is vacation month for
the pastor, with various organi-
zations in the churches being in
charge of services. This week,.
August 3rd, the McIntosh United
Church Women are in charge;
on the 10th, the Hi -C group is
responsible, the 17th, Belmore
U. C. W. ; with the two Sessions
in charge on the 31st. Miss La-
vonne .Ballagh will be the speak-
er on August 24th. All August
services will be held in the Mc-
Intosh Church.

On Saturday, July 12, Bill
Fear, Bill Phelan, Nancy Lapp,
Marie Trcwartha and Leonard
Lobb all flew from Toronto to
Fort William and returned one
week later with five 4-11 mem-
bcrs from Rainy River.
While here,, the 4-14 mem-
bers visited Niagara Falls and
Douglas Point, as well as local
farms. On Saturday thc Rainy
River delegates returned home
by air from Toronto.
