Word has now reached us, that the film has won in its category, defeating productions from Japan, Poland and Great Britain. This is different from the television Emmy Awards that were presented early in June; the ceremony presenting theses awards has yet to be held. 'Scent of, Flowers' was seen last year on the Festival' series It was produced' by the late Melwyn Breen, and starred Mar- tha Henry, a young suicide vic- tim who saw her life in flash- back.
