T. J.. Rees, as- sisted by Rev. Gordon.Fish of Wingham and Mr. G. McAuslaq officiated at the marriage of 'Brenda Victoria Alexander and Richard John Scott. The wedding music was played by Harold V. Pym, Lon- don, and Miss Marlene Blyth, • Brantford, cousin of the bride, was the soloist. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Alexander, R.R. 1, Conn, and the groom is the son of Mr. and M rs. George R. Scott, Wingham. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a floor - length A-line gown of satin shantung with long sleeves and rolled collar, and trimmed with lace appliques. Her finger-tip veil fell from a tiara and .she carried a cascade of deep pink roses and stephanotis. The matron of honor was Mrs. Sheila Verwey; Kitchener, sister of the bride, and the bridesmaids were Miss Susan McKay, Montreal, cousin of • the groom, and ,Misses Helen and Maxine Alexander, sisters of the bride. They were gown- ed alike in floor -length gowns of sea green nylon chiffcin over taffeta, A-line style with rolled collars. They carried white mums and pink carnations. The groomsman was Charles Congram, Scarborough, and the • usherswere William McIntyre, Kitchener and Russell AleXande4 Ottawa. The reception was held in the Westcott United Church par- lor where the three -tiered cake, candles and flowers decorated the bride's table. For the wedding trip to Northern Ontario the,,, bride chose a yellow linen coat and dress ensemble with white ac- cessories and corsage of white carnations. Steg- enga, Lakefield, Ontario, on Saturday, June 28th, in Elm- wood Avenue Presbyterian Church, London. Rev. D. Glen Campbell officiated, assisted by Rev. Joseph Muchan, To - ronto, a close friend of the family: Given in marriage by her brother Donald, the bride wore an ivory and silver sari, sent direct from India as were those of her attendants. Her head- dress was a tiara of stephanotis and she carried a cascade of Orange Delight roses. Mrs. Rita Neudorf, Van- couver, was the matronrof hon- or and the bridesmaids were Miss Anna Stinson of London and Miss Sueanne Maidment, Agincourt. The three attend- ants wore saris, in color from deep turquoise shading to pal- est turquoise, and theycarried cascades of pale yellow roses and shaggy baby mums and, . like the bride, wore tiaras to match their bouquets. Cathie MacKay from Ithica, N. Y. , niece of the bride, was flower girl and wore a floor -length blue silk gown sent from India and carried a basket of yellow roses and shaggy baby muftis. Harry Stegenga„brother.of the groom, was best man and guests were ushered by Hans and Leslie Stegenga, also broth- ers of the groom. The service was choral with' all guests participating .in sing- ing theprocessional hymn, "Praise My Soul the King of Heaven" with Mr. Vanderberg at the organ.
