Higgins reunion
held in St Marys

Higgins reunion was held,Sun.
day at Cadzow Park in .St.
Marys with 88 signing the reg-
ister. '
Everyone enjoyed a delicious
dinner after the president, Ray-
mond. Walker, led in grace and
the -observance of two. rhinutes'

had passed away during the

Fifteen -hundred musicians,
armed with guitars and acco
ions will vie for more than
$10,000 in prizes and trophies
at the Canadian Music Leagues'
Music Festival being held at the
Royal York Hotel, Toronto,
July 16th to 19th.
Competitions are scheduled
between 8.30 a. m. and 9.30
p. m., with breaks in between'
for tours of the Toronto area.

rie, Mark Tiffin, and Dianne
McCormick.

Hayes Limited, consulting en-
gineers, attended the .Morris
Council meeting on July 2 when
the report of the Congram Mu-
nicipal Drain was read and con-
sidered. After some discussion
with the ratepayers involved it
was decided that the report
should be referred back to the
engineer for further study.
A $10.00 grant was made to
the Huron County Historical
'Society. A motion was passed
to look after repairs on the Mc-
Cutcheon drain and that coun-
cil accept the budget as pre-
sented by the treasurer.
A by-law setting the mill
rates was given the necessary
readings' and passed General
municipal, 17 and i5.3 mills;
county 22.2; elementary school,
20 and 18; secondary schools
