Mr. and Mts. Elmer Millar were in Kitchener on Sunday where they visited the former's fattier who is very ill in the K & W Hospital, Kitchener. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Schaef- er and Wendy of London spent the week -end with the former's mother, Mrs. Gertrude Schaef- Ten tables of progressive euchre were in play at the com- munity hall, sponsored by the Lady Orange Lodge. High scorers were Mrs. Peter Browne,. Elton Zeigler, consolation, Mrs. Lome Kelly and Mr. Jack Winters; special prize, Mr. Freeman. Mrs. Ruby Forster returned home last week after spending a few days in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. William Mul- vey, Cindy, Jeffrey of Belmore s from Fordwich visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. James Vittie. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Arm- strong visited Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Victor O'Brecht in Mi mico. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Campbell of Paisley called on friends in the village on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sothern and Timmy of Palmerston visit- ed Sunday with Mr: and Mrs. Bill Sothern. Mr. and Mis. Ted Klaassen and Teddy spent one day last week in Kitchener and Guelph. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Holt, Mrs. Earl Ridley, Mrs. Phyllis Bolander, .John and Don visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lynn at4Orillia. Mr. Earl Rid- ley, who is employed at Sud- bury, visited at the same home. Mrs. Pearl Patterson returned home 1 t week after spending the pathree weeks with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Austin in Tilison- burg. Mrs. Florence Wilson and Murray were in Toronto over the week -end where they attended the funeral of Mr. William Wil- son. Mt. and Mrs. Jim Douglas and Mr. and Mrs. Ron McCle- ment visited over the week -end with Mr. and Mrs. Dennis John- ston in Sarnia. Mrs. Norman H mg spent a few days last week th her sister, in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Johnston attended the funeral of,the lat- ter's uncle, Mr. R. Best, one day last week in Shelboeerne. Master Gary Douglas spent the week -end with Mr. and Mrs. Ron Douglas, near Clifford. Miss Leslie Campbell of To- ronto spent the week -end with her grandmother, Mrs. Pearl Patterson. Mr. Robert Connell spent the week -end with Mr. and Mo. Keith Duncan at Brampton, Mrs. Connell returned home after spending a few days there. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Dins"' more attended a Nursing Home Institute sponsored by Ontario Nursing Home, RNAO, Medic Association, Canadian Hospital Association and Dental Health Association last week in the Park Plaza Hotel, Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Wally Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Gibson, Mr. and Mrs. Ernie D'Arcey and Mrs. Jessie O'Gorman at- tended the wedding of their niece, Miss Anne Keis, on Sat- urday in Guelph.
