Chesley where she received
her education, and later she op-
erated a millinery shop in Walk-
erton from 1916 to 1919.
On Aust 1919 she Mar-
ried Harry Dane and they lived
in Chesley until moving to To,
ronto early In 1923. They later
lived In Niagara Fails and again
In Toronto before moving to
Owen Sound in November, 1932.
When -they first went to Owen
Sound, Mr„ and Mrs. Dane op,
erated a restaurant, giving up
that business in 1936. Since
that time Mr. Dane has been in
the automotive business, associ-
ated with Owen Sound Motors
Ltd.
The late Mrs. Dane is surviv-
ed by her husband, one daugh-
ter, (Kathryn) Mrs. A. C. Keil -
ler, and one son, William R.
Dane, publisher' of The Sun -
Times, both of Owen Sound.
Also surviving is a niece, Miss
Doris McCoy of Niagara Falls,
Ontario, Mrs. Dane was the
last surviving member of the
Sellwoocl family, being prede-
'Ceased by two brothers and three
sisters;
Mts. Dane in earlier years
was a member of the Owen
Sound Lawn Bowling Club, and
was also a member of the Owen
Sound Golf and Country Club
and the Grey Granite Club.
A member of Division Street
United Church, Mrs. Dane was
an active worker in the church
as long as her health permitted.

Hird of Gorrie and Rev. Hugh
Wilson of Exeter.
Temporary entombment was
In McIntosh Cemetery Chapel,
with latp interment in Gorrie
Cemetery.

Zurbrigg and Morley Johnston.
Flower bearers were Syl Lassa -

of Mrs. Bernard Rutledge, the ,
former Phyllis Harcourt, She
was the daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harcourt
.of Wingham.
She leaves her husband and
t,ro sons, Brian and David of
Toronto; one daughter, Mrs.
Gary Wright of Mimico; two
grandchildren; three brothers,
Alvin of •Port Elgin, John of
Walkerton and Wilmer. Harcourt,
Minnie Street, •Wingham; sis-
ters, Mrs. Glen Sinnamon, Miss
Winnifred and Miss Myrtle. Har-
court. Interment was in Kitch-
ener cemetery.
