The Dual meeting of $4,
Andrew's Presbyterian Church..
Wingham,, was held on Wed-.
nesday evening, *Marl ary 2 r
,preceded by a congregational °
$u pper in the fellowship hail.
The Meeting opened with
devotions conducted by Rev .
Gordon Hath. Mr. Fish said,
"We are constantly reminded of
God"s'providential care and
direction and only praise, Him
for the many blessings that we
have enjoyed. The church
moves, not on the record of
dollars and cents but on the
level or depth of ie people's
concern for the matters that lie
at the very heart of God. The
annual meeting provides the
opportunity for an assessment
of the past and the concern that
we better accomplisirHis pur-
poses for the future. The year
has brought joys and sorrows:We
regret that we must report the
loss of a member of Kirk Ses-
sion, Howard Sherbondy, and a
"'member of the. Board of Mana-
gers, Dr. W. A. McKiblion,
who so ably led the congrega-
tion through his chairmanship
of the Building Committee, dur-
ing the erection of a new
church. To the families of
these and other valued mem-
bers of the congregation, we
extend sympathy. "
