All members were present. The president, - Brenda King, conducted -the opening exercises and Darlene Simpson read the minutes. The roll call was, "One vegetable I have served since the last meet- ing and how it was served". The discussion centred on the place of vegetables in m e a 1 planning and tossed salads. As fa group project they prepared the meal cooking beans, pota- toes and carrots. A tossed- salad wasalso made. Pamela King made lemon pie for dessert. The girls enjoyed the meat they had prepared. The Bruce County home economist inspected the garden plots of Ruth Elliott, Brenda and Pamela King and Darlene Simp- son on Friday.
