meeting of the Whitechurch ,
Water Signers was held Monday
evening in the -community
memorial hall with an attend-
ance of 15, to .consider the
price of labour and materials
as estimatedby several owners
of equipment to bore a hole •
under the pavement on High-
way 86. This is to facilitate
service tolthe homes of James
McInnes and Carnet Farrier.
The consumption of water
by the signers was also estimat-
ed,
The question of fire protec-
tion was again discussed.
The newly -elected president
Russel Chapman, presided for
the meeting. Arrangements
were made and each person
was assigned his duties when
the job of crossing the road be-
gins.
