The W iugbarn Figure Skating
Club excelled itself this year in
its annual ice show staged at
the arena last Saturday evening.
The show drew a, crowd est%nat
ed at over 600 people.
Skating with the youthful'

Figure Skating .Association,
Backed by the hard work:of the
club executive and the.parents.

excellent set at the end of the
arena,. Colored bulbs along
the boards at ice° level added.

WINS TROPHY
Kim Mellor was the winner
of the coveted,,Marguerite Burt
rel% Trophy, which is presented
annually to the skater showing
the most improvement, person-
ality and all-round help to the
Figure Skating Club during"the
year. Club president Roy Ben-
nett made the,presentation and •
,Kim was presented with an in-
dividual trophy by the club's
treasurer, Mrs. Harold Wild:
Kim was also the Queen of the
show.. �.
Another top skater was Kath-
leen Jay who was "Alice" in
the program.
