And if you can't stand hoc-
key, bur like to watchf tele-
vision, 1 have a couple of soo-
per-dooper shows coming up
for you! The first is Thursday,
January 18, at 8:30 p.m. and
it is always &highlight of the
year - ,, that great guy Bob Hobe
and his Christmas tour to Viet
Nam, This year his group in-
cluded screen star Racquel
Welsh, singing star Barbara Mc-
Nair, singer Phil Crosby (son of
his pal Bing),. and Miss World
of 1967. His cast is all new
this year not ,including .slinger
Anita Bryant rior actress Jayne
Manstield, as it has for years.
Perhaps it was Miss Mansfield's
tragic Ide.ath, earlier this year
that promp.ted:Bob to make a
complete change.. Her absence
"would be, no doubt keenly felt-
by the boys over there. .
. The other %top show is corn-
ing
orning on January•24 at,9;0 when
"Ejizabeth Thee Queen" will be
shown in place of 'Festival'.
A fine historical drama by Max-
well Anderson, it will star
Dame Judith Anderson as Eliza-
beth, with Charleton, Heston as
the yourrg, Earl of Essex who
wins the aged Queen's love.
Should be worth seeing!
