coming in third in the
standings 30 pins behind
the winner.
It was also an excellent

the Huron County Dart
League. Quer branch has
only been in the league
two complete seasons
now and already a team
consisting—of captain
Terry Holiinshead,, with
members Freeman
Shepard, Allan • Pennie,
John r Scott and spares
Derek Adshead and Bob
Semple came up as
overall winners of the
League. The closing
banquetand dance as
well as the presentation
of'prizes will take place in
our branch auditorium
this corning Saturday
with a special treat
organized and prepared
by the men" of our branch,
giving the Ladies,
Auxiliary a well deserved
rest from the heavy
schedules_ Alley have
experienced.
Our Ladies ' "Auxiliary
had a busy week this
week past. On Tuesday
evening, it was the
Ladies' Afternoon
Bowling League banquet
and social evening. Again
on Wednesday evening,
the Tuckersmith Bowling
League had their closing
banquet. ,A thank -you to
the dedicated members
who take an unselfish
interest in our branch by
continually donating of
their time and talent for
its betterment.
Also on Wednesday
evening, it was our
branch's pleasure to host
the zone sports meeting.
The 23 representatives
were treated to a light
lunch, compliments of
our branch staff.
Thursday was . bingo
night with team captain
Eric Switzer and his team
providing the services to
the some 90 15i-nga
players-lt� was_ Ken Baxt.
from Clinton who came
up with the lucky winning
numbers taking home the
$200 jackpot prize. Mixed
darts- were again in ac-
tion last Thursday
evening and although the
playoffs are over, it's still
an attractive fun evening.

On Friday, it was TGIF
in our lounges with a good
attendance for the
evening. Our auditorium

facilities were also
graced with another
wedding reception for
Donna Dale and . Fred
Veenstra with the
auditorium filled with--
guestsilwishingthem well
in their future life. Our
thanks, to Dorothy and
Noel Flagg who tended to
the needs of, the many
guests.
Saturday evening it
was our branch social
evening in our
auditorium with the
"Crippled Ducks" sup-
plying the music, a .
terrific orchestra and a
good evening for all who
turned out in support of
our branch activities. Our
chairman John Stevely
and his committee are
surely to be commended
for their efforts on our
behalf.
