Mice invasion under control
By Andrew Davidson
Pei ple of Clinton, put
your 'minds at ease. The
exaggerated number of
mice reported to be in-
festing the school, is
being dealt with.
Al Gretsky, from Pest
Control in London, has
$250 to help us eliminate
the rodent problem.
He 'has set out poison
bait, a strong anti-
coagulant, Mr. Gretsky
referred- to as "Brorno'',
in many of the empty
lockers and above the
ceiling tiles in the school.
Mr. Gretsky has given no
guarantee on the ef-
fectiveness of this bait,
but it is hoped that it will
do the trick.
He will return Thur-
sday or Friday to see how
Much more bait will be
required. He may open
some lockers used by
students and place the
poison bait in there as
well.
It is estimated' that the
Awards
problern will be rectified
by the end of the term,
but only if students
cooperate. They must
remove uneaten lunches
from their lockers and
periodically clear the
lockers. Students are also
•
advised to put their
lunches in airtight con-
tainers.
So, don't despair. Those
so-called "hordes" of
mice should soon be
eliminated and , our
troubles will be over
(until finals).
ELnd bars :assembly
The Awards and Bars
Committee , (ABC) has
begun preparations for
the final assembly this
year. Each teacher in-
volved with a club will be
receiving a form on
which they are to list the
