Big Brother's still watching
Well, thing q have
fin#11y started to happen
at good old'Central High;
It has come to this
reporter's attention that
a certain Grade 10
student S. Mc. has a
crush on V.S. Say cheese
S. and maybe the mouse
will bite!
There are echoes
sounding throughout the
school telling a two
students J.L. and L.K.
who have made a deal
with Mrs. G. to buy her
test papers from her for
$25 a page. It has also
been heard that the two
students plan to sell these
pages for a $25 profit. Will
the corruption and
demoralization of our
youth today never end?
It ha § been reported
that last Thursday R. Mc.
was caught in an "un-
balanced" situation.
Earlier in the day a
yardstick with a piece of
chalk on it had been left
to balance in the
Chemistry lab. When R.
Mc. came to class period
nine he grabbed the
yardstick, causing the
chalk to fall off of it
before reading the ac-
companying note. Once
R. Mc. discovered this
note was from Mr. R. he
spent a frenzied 40
minutes trying to
rebalance the chalk and
the yardstick before
learning that the note was
not from Mr. R., but from
a student S.B.
This reporter has
learned that the boys
basketball teams arenow
"boogie'n to the beat"
during practises.
Following an example set
by several other high
schools in the area, the
boys teams are playing
, records during practises.

Christmas assembly
The Christmas
Assembly for 1979, under
the direction of com-
mittee head, Ste-ve
Sparling, is set to take
place on Friday.
Included in the -i,
assemblv program will
be the snow "To Tell The
Truth", in order to
determine who is the real
Santa Claus. The "Lit-
tlest Angels" will be
present with their ren- ,
ditions of several famous
Christmas cards and the
Students' Council, not to
be outdone, will ;be on
stage to sing their own
versions of some
Christmas cards.
Miss Ugly 1979, will be
back to, narrate and host \
her own talent show.
None of us are able to
forget Miss Ugly's ability
to captivate her audience
with her stunning
ugliness, so it is no doubt
that this segment of the
program will be one to
cherish forever.
Santa Claus will
reappear at the assembly
later on, to hand out gifts'.
to various teachers and
staff members who have
remained as good little
boys and girls throughout
the preceding year.
This is only a sneak
preview of some of the
oUtstanding attractions
featured at the Assembly.
With all of the planning
and preparation put, into
it, the 1979 Christmas
assembly promises to be
one of the best in years.
