strong) Archambault
received her diploma and
certificate in
physiotherapy from
Mohawk College and
McMaster University in
Hamilton at the con-
vocation held September
29.
Mrs. Archambault is
presently a member of
the staff at Parkwood
Hospital' in London and
will 'be joining the
physiotherapy team of
Victoria Hospital in
London in January.
She is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. William D.
Armstrong of R.R. 3
Bayfield.

A very successful
Dessert Euchre was held
by the Hensall Women's
Institute on Wednesday,
October 17 in the Legion
Hall with 15 tables in
play.
Winners were: ladies'
high, Helen McDonald of
Lucan; ladies' low, Elsie
Carlisle of Hensall; lone
hands, Aldine Volland of
Hensall. Winners in the
draw were: canned ham,
Marion Dougall, RR3,
Exeter; and basket of
apples,, Mary Rowcliffe,
RR1, Hensall; nearest
birthday, Verna Hicks,
Centralia.
Church news
The Rev. Michael
Boulger of Monkton
preached at Hensall
United Church on Sunday
October 21 for Mission
Sunday. A former
missionary in Western
Canada, Rev. Boulger
topk as his subject,
"Missions in a circle of
love".
The choir, led by Mrs.
Marianne McCaffrey,
sang, "Now let us all
praise God and sing" by
Gordon Young with Dr.
Ralph Topp at the organ.
A bale of used clothing'
is to be packed Tuesday,
October Mat 9 a.m. at the
Church. Anyone wishing
to make a donation to the
bale shotild leave
clothing at the church
prior to this date.
Village happenings
Mr. and Mrs. Alvin
Rader of Exeter visited
with Mr. and Mrs. Sam
Oesch on Sunday
evening.
There was a good
response, at the semi-
annual Rummage Sale
sponsored by the Hensall
Kinettes at the Legion
Hall on Thursday, Oc-
tober 18. Any unsold
articles at the end of the
sale were donated to the
London Salvation Army.
The Kinettes would like
to thank all those who
helped
Mr. and Mrs. Ross
Alexander visited with
Mr. and Mrs. Ian Sim
and family over the
weekend in Galt.
Mr. Michael King of
Sutton', Surrey, England
is visiting this week with
his aunt and uncle, Mr.
and Mrs. Carl Payne.
Other 'visitors on Sunday
were Mrs. John
Alexander and Joan, Mr.
and Mrs. Ross Berdan of
Union and Mr. Pat King
of London.
4-H news
The Hensall two 4-H
club, the Needlepointers,
met in the United Church,
on Tuesday, October 16
with all eight members
present. The roll call was
"one idea for the club's
presentation for
Achievement Day" which
is to be a skit.
Considerable time was
spent working on the new
stitches for this meeting,
including the Scotch
stitch and the Cashmere
Spleaarn
