Conservation park made
a perfect setting for the
Golden •Radar Senior
Citizen's picnic on July
11.
About 40 club members
enjoyed a hearty w
smorgasdrd supper at. •
5:30 pm and some of the
evening was spent
playing contests and
games, conducted by Ed
and Jean Johns; George
and Minlue Rumball, and
Ruby -Webster - and
Ceacilia• Edgar. Sorne of
the activities were
curtailed a by a thun-
derstorm "
The first fall meeting of
the club will be held in the
Clinton- town hall on
Wednesday, September 5.
The meeting will begin'
with a potluck supper at 6
pni, followed by y the
business meeting at 7:30
pm. The games and
contests not played at the
picnic will provide the
entertainment and prizes
will be awarded. All the
former club members are
invited back.. on Sep-
tember 5 and . they are
invited „ to bring a new
member.
