member for seven years
and plans on attending
university to study law.

will all be for sale at the
library's' annual book
sale.
Thursday, August 2,
1979 at 10. a.m. in the
Library Park, the Clinton
Library will be holding - a"
sale of discontinued
books. Hardbound books
will be available at' the
small fee of 25 cents per
book, ' while children's
books will be for sale at 10
cents each, with
paperbacks , and
magazines also on sale.
In case of, inclement
weather the sale will take
place in the Children's
Room of the library.
It has previously been
mentioned that the
Clinton Library. has
acquired on loan from the
Midwestern Regional
Library System, in
Kitchener, a video
playback unit. In order to
create an interest in this
media, and demonstrate
how it can effectively be
used in a library setting,
several times within the
next few weeks, staff
members will be showing
a video-taped version of
'The Farm Show'. This
program, which is
referred to as 'The
Clinton Special' is based
on Theatre Passe
Muraille's well-known
production of 'The Farm
Show'.
It features interviews
with many local Clinton
residents, and shows
portions of the play as it
was prOduced in Corey's
Sales Barn several years.

in length.
To date, the response to
the ' library's campaign
for old Wintario tickets
