The residents enjoyed the outing very much and report a most enjoyable “Rev, Gonyou of Exeter conducted the church service last week. Visitors, with Mrs. Clara Featherston were bier brother and his wife Bill and Via Parker; and. sisters plargaret Larson, Belle Reid, and Euela Smith. They also visited Louise Mitchell. Mrs. Helen Collins from Michigan visited her brother Mr. Nelson Loghrin; Mrs. Pear Erratt visited her husband Russell and Mrs Susan Purdy visited her husband Len. Ladies' high bowlin score was Edna Youn with a 90 and men's hig ,was Neil Regan with 126. The ladies 'of the Summerhill Club met at the ::,:home of Allie Westerhout on July I Ith. In the absence of President Sandra Westerhout, Margaret Wright chaired the meeting. Thank yous were received from George and Marion Coldlough, Norman Wright, the Hospital Auxiliary and The Family and Children's Services of Huron County. The members were reminded of the picnic to be held at the Con- . servation- Park -south of toyvn on July 19th at 7 p.m. Sandra Westerhout invited everyone to com,e back to their. 1)061 for a swim following the picnic. Jean Vodden won the raffle and the August meeting will be held at Hazel Watkins .home on Aug. 8 at 8A0 p.m The lunch and program Committee are Betty Batty, Marion Colclough and Lorna Ellis. Barbara Lovett had a contest which was won by Margaret Might and Evelyn Mrrill'scontest was won by Donna Tyndall. Evelyn also read a poem pritiled, "Slave City".
