Miss Hackman told the
ladies. that the Centre, •
located in Dr. Wood's
offices on Huron Street, is
funded by the Ministry of
Community, Social and ,
Family .Needs. The
Centre's Board, con-
sisting of three women
and four men, including
one teacher and one
psychologist, come' from
Huron's five towns.
Miss .Hackman, a.
secretary at the Centre,
said that they are there to

help parents and prevent
trouble They deal with
parents OR) ask:. f or helpw
for their,:. children,
ranging from youngsters,
up to 18 years old, or help
these -_children referred to •-
themsby a doctor.
The • Centre has been
quite successful in
helping parents and their
children learn to un-
derstand one a .nofh.er.
They also give marital.
council, work with the
law and help parents who
have • handicapped.
children: Their main
objective is to help
parents find a way to deal
with their problems.

'lace. Her veil featured a
®Juliette cap with mat-
ching lace and was -held
in place at the back of the
head by a white gardinia.
She carried a bouquet of
pink carnations, red
roses, baby's breath and
white steplianotis.

honor. She wore a dusty
rose formal dress with
silver glitter and a
