Varna Induction service to beheld

The induction service
for Rev. Wilena Brown
will be held on Friday
evening, June 40 at 8 p.m.
at Goshen church with
Rev. Alun Thomas of
Bayfjeld conducting the
service. Rev. Maurice
Francis of Fullarton,
chairman of presbytery,
will preside over the
induction ceremony, and
Rev. Robert Roberts of
Egmondville will preach
the sermon. Present also
will be acting secretary, huge success with over
Rev. Stan McDonald of 1,100 people in attendance
Hensall. Miss Brown is for an excellent meal.

Annual Webster picnic held at Brucefield
The annual Webster
picnic was held at
Brucefield Central. School
on June 10, 1979 when
about 120 registered.
Due to the extreme
heat the gathering was
held indoors. President
Jim Chapman of Exeter
extended a welcome to
the gathering. Everyone
enjoyed the Pipe Band
music by 6 pipers and 2
drummers led by
drummer, Wat Webster,
also their drill for-
mations.
The races were in
charge of Mrs. Gladys
Doig, Mrs. Grace
Chapman and Jim
Chapman. -. The results
were as follows:

grandfather -grandson playing in the Ontario
Legion Massed Pipe and Drum Band, which will
represent Canada in Scotland later this summer.
