In th light of Jim's kind remarks - from now on we shall refer to his blasphemies as colourful explosions rather than swearings. + ++ To the victors of the election, congratulations - to the losers, con- dolences. But in the last analysis, we are all winners to be living in a democracy where we have the freedom to vote and the freedom to choose for whom we vote. + ++ Mr: and Mrs. Alvin Wise and Mrs. Charles Proctor attended the graduation ceremonies at Mohawk College, Hamilton on May 12, 1979, when Dianne Proctor graduated with honours as a chemical technician. + ++ LARGEST CAR STEREO SELECTION yUeSIC 40 ONTARIO STREET STRATFORD Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carter moved to London on the weekend where they attended the wed- ding of their grandson, Douglas Kenneth Moore, son of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. It is original and refreshing and is reproduced just the way it was received: "I checked last week's paper to see if you had a contest for the most unusual Mother's Day present, because I think I have a pretty good chance of winning. "On Mother's Day morning, I found a hoe stretched across the kitchen table, saying Happy Mother's Day 1979. It was a lovely little lady's hoe, with sharp corners - not the usual big heavy chomper which I have used'for Ftlie past 29 years.
