The Huron County Public Library is pleased to present the Paul Gaulin Mime Company on Thursday., May 24 at the Clinton Public School Auditorium at 8 p.m. Admission is free and funding for this family performance is made available through Outreach Ontario, a program of the ministry of culture and recreation. Paul Gaulin, Pam Warr and Naomi Tyrell appear in the . production. This. performance includes three skits. The first "The Boatman the second is a take -off on "Dracula" and the last a piece entitled "Trees", which appeared last year on the CBC television network. Gaulin, now 30, has been in this field of work for five years. The Company has recently completed a.- very suc- cessful United States tour. New artistic director Bill Amos, Huron Country Playhouse Chairman of the Board, announced this week that Aileen Taylor -Smith has been named Playhouse Artistic Director and that Marc Quinn has been named general manager. Both positions are currently held by James Murphy, Playhouse ;founder, who announced his resignation effective at the end of the' current 1979 season. Miss Taylor -Smith and Mr. Quinn will begin their appointments in November, 1979. Miss Taylor -Smith, already known to Playhouse audiences as an actress, was selected from 21 applicants. Marc Quinn, a recent graduate from, the University of Waterloo, is currently associated with the Playhouse as Director of Operations. "We are most en- thusiastic about these two appointments," said Mr. Amos, "and look forward to their artistic and ad- ministrative leadership at the Playhouse."
