Grade 1 & 2 trip
On Wednesday
February 21, the grades
one and two ; classes of
Hullett went by bus to Mr.

the chances of the family
having the disease were
minimal.
Last summer there
were six confirmed cases
of Type One polio in the
Norwich area of Oxford

long lineups of people
trying to get vaccine.
Lynch was critical of
the public and media
reaction to the polio
outbreak, saying he
didn't consider polio a
major threat to public
health.
"I don't see the same
concern for the 2,000
people a year who die in
car accidents. No one
died (last year) of polio."
Lynch said at least 90
per cent of school
children are vaccinated.
