Next Sunday Holy Communion and White Gift Sunday will be observed. On Thursday evening November the 30th, Bishop Morse Robinson visited Bayfield with a sang Eucharist at 6 p.m. followed by a bountiful pot luck supper, Canon Paull offered the Grace. Head table guests were: Don and Audrey Mid- dleton, Ray and Estelle Wise, Bishop Robinson and Mrs. Robinson, Harry Baker, Rev. Bennett and Mrs. Ben- nett. Following the pot luck supper, Bishop Robinson spoke on his recollections of the Lambeth Council in Canterbury Cathedral. While in England the Bishop took up residence at the Kent University where at night with the flood lights on and other lights, the Canterbury Cathedral was a beautiful sight to see. Rev. Geor. Youmatoff thanked the Bishop for his address and a social time was had by all. The ACW of St. James' Church Middleton will hold their December meeting at the home of Blanche Deeves at 8 p.m. The ladies are asked to bring in their Zehr's tapes, totalled, to this meeting. Also all annual reports will be read. Socials The community wishes to extend their sympathy to the families of the late Edna Potter. The . Board of Management of St. James' Middleton met Monday evening at 8 p.m. in the home of Mabel and Ross Middleton. Rev. Bennett opened the meeting in prayer. Ross passed a dish of his nice shiny apples for the members to eat. c;ala�el l tdlgt�p, read, the 'minutes and a discussion on Audrey's suggestion to have a bakeless sale. A box will be put in the church starting this Sunday for donations to be put in, in an envelope with your name on it. Ray Wise gave the treasurer's report, and Blanche Deeves gave the financial report of the ACW. A discussion was held on the offer of a window from the Hensall Church with Don Middleton and Ray Wise to assist the Rector with plans to receive the window. A memorial Sunday will be held in the Spring to dedicate the new front door. The Rector gave his good wishes to Mabel and Ross on their trip. Blanche Deeves on behalf of the Board of Management,„ thanked Ross and Mabel for the use of their home for the evening. Nominations for the new board of management are: Rector's Warden, Ray Wise; Peoples Warden, Don Middleton; secretary, Mabel Mid- dleton; treasurer, Ed Wise; Lay Delegates, John Deeves and Stewart Middleton. Other members are Dean Aldwinkie, Vera Miller, Lois Wise, James Storey, Bill Steenstra, Ross Middleton, Stewart Middleton; Head Sidesman, Ed Deeves; Auditors, John Deeves and Keith Miller; Press Reporter, Blanche Deeves; ACW, Audrey Middleton. Personals Ross and Mabel Middleton held a pre Christmas and birthday dinner in their home on Sunday. Family guests were Sandra and David Orr, Angela and Gentry of Goderich Township, Janice of Woodstock, Rossanne of Toronto and Drew of London.
