Our Ladies Auxiliary
were again busy last
week with a dinner
served to the Clinton
Community Credit Union
Board of Directors and
staff accompanied by
their wives, lady friends
and gentlemen friends. It
was again a successful
venture and the ladies
were complimented on
the expertise of service
and tasteful food
preparation.
While TGIF was not so
successfulin its at-
tendance. last Friday
night, the auditorium
made up for it as St.
Joseph's - St. Michael's
Parish held its Fall
Dance. About 170 people
attended ' the function as
the Star Trex provided
the excellent dance music
for all patrons from 18 to
80. The parish family and
their guests were treated
to a hip -of -beef dinner
reminiscent of old Air
Force days.,
Our thanks to
Comrades ' Percy and
Mary Brown and Ed and
Fran Porter for taking
care of the bar and Bill
and Rene for tending to
the meat carving chore.
Also, a thank you to Milt
and Mable Schrieber for
making the salad for the
auditorium patrons.
On Saturday evening,
we were pleased to host
the Annual Eastern Star
Christmas dance. It was
an especially en-
tertaining evening as the
guests were welcomed by
Hostess Worthy Matron
Marg Caldwell and Host
Worthy Patron Guss
Boussey. The music
suited the patrons at the
function as "The
Royalaires provided
enjoyable selections all
evening." Thanks to Bill
Cox and Terry
Hollingshead for tending
bar for the Saturday
evening function.

Our Ladies Auxiliary
were again on the job as
they catered to the
OSSTF executive dinner
meeting last Monday
evening. Harvey Hayter
reminds us that the
Legion Bulletin this week
will contain the news on
the annual New Year's
Eve frolic, so we suggest
you read the bulletin
carefully. Now that most
of the fall work has been
completed in our farming
area, now is the time to
join our sports activities.
