No, you aren't seeing
double - there is another
Town Talk around.
Readers will notice
elsewhere in this paper
there is an act for a new
store bearing the
namesake of this column.
In all fairness to both
the new establishment
and this paper we should
point out that there is no
connection whatsoever
between the two names.
The store known as Town
Talk which opens this
week has only the eight
letters in common and
neither the News -Record
nor the writer are af-
filiated in any way.

Never underestimate
your fire fighters in this
town - they are a
dedicated lot. Four of
them are finding out that
there is still more to
learn, even after many
years of manning the
hoses.
Doug Cartwright, Craig
Cox, Dennis Fleischauer
wand Fred Lobb are in the
middle of a thirteen week
- 40 hour course at the
Fire Fighters' School in
Exeter. The men go
every Monday night, they
started last September 11
along with 27 other area
fire fighters.

To the residents of the
BlueWater Centre for the
Developmentally Han-
dicapped the death last
week of Agnes Moon was
a personal lops as well as
the loss of an instructress
in crafts, cooking and
personal expression. She
created this program
especially for her pupils.
For most of us Agnes
Moon was an artist whose
canvasses hang in many
homes, but for the men
and women of the Centre
on Highway 21 near
Goderich where she in-
structed. - Agnes Moon
was the embodiment of a
warm, out -going person
who touched their lives.
The sympathy of our
community goes out to
those who were close to
Agnes.

the game too. Served with
a green salad and hot
rolls, this meal might
even help the losers
forget.
une thing to remember
- keep the stew either
very hot (160 degrees C)
or very cold (40 degrees C
in the refrigerator) to
ensure that the food you
served won't be the
source of headaches the
day after! Don't give

grow.
