Many farmers in the area
are busy on the land after a
long delay in the nice
weather.
Hope to see a better control
on the packs of dogs that are
running at large in the area.
Many have tied their dogs up
in our immediate area, but
not before they were attacked
by the wandering dogs.

attention to verse 23,
stressing Redemption.
The results of redemption
are: we are justified before

Musings from the
Lions club
That ... Hats are off to Lion
Eric and all those who helped
with Ladies Night Friday
Night held at the Legion Hall
in Clinton. It was as always a
roaring success, and from all
reports from the ladies, a
most enjoyable evening.
That ... Sunday, May 21
from nine 'till two p.m. will be
the annual Lions pancake
breakfast served up plain or
fancy with pure maple syrup
from the maples in Clan
Gregor Square.
That ... a flash from the
Governor's Newsletter ..
included the challenge ..
Several weeks ago, a young
blind woman, now living in
Toronto, had her leader dog
stolen. To make a long story
short, the dog was sold in a
tavern for $20 and the buyer
returned it to the rightful
owner, after an extensive
campaign by the media.
To honour the good
samaritan who returned the
dog, the Waterloo Lions have
advised Wally Crouter of
CFRB radio in Toronto, that
they would donate $20 to the
Leader Dog School in
Rochester, Michigan, and
they challenge every other
club in district "A" to do the
same thing.
