Donations are being given to Queen Elizabeth School, Children's Aid, Salvation Army, John Robarts School, C.N.I.B., Meals on Wheels, and the Bluewater Centre. Muriel McClure gave a report on the Western Ontario' Provincial Assembly, and Edith Nott and Nellie Wammes are making boxes to be sent to the shut ins. ' The members exchanged gifts and lunch was served. Personals • We are sorry to report that Katinka Dorrance is a patient in Stratford General Hospital. We hope she will be home for Christmas. The McClure families gathered on Sunday December 18 at the Foresters Hall for their Christmas gathering, There were 68.. attending. Mr. and Mrs. George Counter, Richard, Kassan- dra, and Vicky spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bun McConnell of Strathroy. Mr. and Mrs. John Wam- n-ioq and Teresa held a Christmas gathering on Sunday December 18 for the Wammes family. Those at- tending were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Wammes, Ronnie and Mark of RR 2, Seaforth; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sanders Jen- nifer and Jeffery of RR 4, Brussels; Mr. and Mrs. Marris Bos, Steven, Sharon, Kenny, Michael, Andy and Kathy; Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Brindley and Ricky of Holyrood. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Scott and Dwayne of Parkhill spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Preszcator,'B.ill and,bebbie and Michael. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Presz- cator held Christmas on Sunday December 18 for their family. Those attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Jim Preszcator Bill, Debbie and Michael; Mr. and Mrs. Dvid Preszcator Christine;'aLisa, Christopher and Greg; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dillon and Michelle of Seaforth; Mr. and Mrs. Steven Lee; Mr. Doug Anstett of Seaforth; Nancy Preszcator; Mrs. Lawrence Hill of Crediton, who is remaining for a few days. - Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson and Bob recently spent the weekend in South- field Michigan visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reynolds ane ,Nancy Jo and Mrs. Joe Armstrong. Mrs. Clinton Kinettes are living up to their club motto The- Clinton Kinettes have been busy this fall in their attempts to fulfill their motto, ''Serving the Communities Greatest Needs." Service projects initiated 'and now successfully com- pleted have included helping to man the, Blood Donors Clinic; canvassing, for the Canadian Arthritis Society ; taking Huronview ladies out for tea and a scenic drive and manning the hospital cart for the month of November. The Kinettes have also helped a local family have a better Christmas and have given financial assistance to an area boy for his re-training programs. , The movies gleaned from the Kin Kiddies Chr,istma^s""' Mart which this year netted over $300 will go toward the purchase of badly needed equipment for the hospital children ward. The autumn draw for a side of beef, which was won by Mrs. Ken Johnston, boosted the Kinette service account by over $200. The money will be used for ,community works. Vapourizers are being purchased for our Huronview Christmas gift. Other Christmas activities include gift giving and carol singing for Heather Gardens and preparation of tray favours for New Years at the hospital. This week a Wintario cheque for $1,350.50 arrived to wind-up finances of the Kinette-Wintario Project of providing a pool heater for our local park pool. It was installed last June at a cost of over $5,000 to the Kinette Club of Clinton. At this point it should be Jack Gerrits Const. Ltd. . W.
