This year our NST chair-
man Norma Preszcator has
set up a colour coded system
whereby each skater wears
their name tag in a special
colour which indicates their
particular skating group.
Now a strayed three or four
year old should be more
easily identified and returned
to his own group, thus
reducing any frustration both
for the child and the ice
captain.
. Each group has one or
more amateur coaches who
has had special training for
this work. The senior skaters
usually take care of this, but
this year, due to the en-
couraging larger enrolment,
extra help was required. Aid
has come forth from former
members, Sylvia Forbes and
Debbie Jones. The groups and
coaches are: three -year-old
beginners with Jane Symons
assisted by Karen Cook and
Jennifer Woods; four-year-
old beginners with Peggy
Jones assisted by Cheryl
Beane and Dawn Flynn; five-
year-old beginners with
Sylvia Forbes assisted by
Erica Lyons and Mary
Gibson; six and seven year
old beginners Group A with
Judy Johnston; seven and
eight year old beginners
Group B with Shelley Mid -

give his club a 4-1, lead after
one period.
The. Lancers continued to
sakte through the Sailor
defence and added another
two goals before the Sailors
got their second. Three
minutes into the second
period Montgomery got; his
second and then at the seven
minute mark he made it a
hattrick. Kevin Meriam
