The Oosterhoutse
Naghtegalen choir performed
in CHSS, Clinton on Monday
night for an audience of over
800. They presented a very
international treat with their
English, Dutch, German,
French, Italian and Latin
program. It was their first
performance of an eight
scheduled in their three week
tour of South Western
Ontario, in celebration of
their 40th anniversary.

countries and also performed
at the Imperial Palace in
Iran, but this Canadian tour is
the highlight of all their
travels so far.
They want to thank each
and everyone for being such a
receptive audience and also
to all the friendly people who
opened their homes for the
choir members during their
five day stay in the area.
The choir is also per-
forming in Guelph, London,
Arkona and Milton lat6r in
their trip and may have
possible additions. However
they feel that the Clinton and
Seaforth area hospitality
cannot beDutdone.
The extravaganza of the
choir will be long remem-
bered by the audience in
attendance last Monday
evening. We wish the
Nightingales a pleasant
singing holiday where ever
they go on this trip.
