Christian School holds annual graduation
For the grade eight students at Huron Centennial, last
Thursday evening was not only used to celebrate the end of
school but also the beginning of a fall term in grade nine.

Twp. concerned about beach access
Goderich township council
is working to protect its in-
terests in a subdividers
agreement with Otto Beyer,
developer of part of a
lakefront lot in the township
about five miles north of
Bayfield. Beyer met with
council at its last meeting to
discuss his plan of subdivision
for the acreage and to discuss
the beach access in par-
ticular.
Council delayed any
decision and plan to meet
Beyer at the lot to see if a
suitable access cari be agreed

the township's request that he
alter the tile drain outlet on

Morning prayer was held in
St. James Church, Middleton
at 11:15 a.m. with Ray Wise
and Ed Deeves receiving the
offering, Rev. Wm. Benn's
sermon was "the hardest

Sunday evening was
Decoration Day at Clinton
Cemetery with the Clinton
Legion Band leading the
parade into the cemetery.
John Wise played the "Last
TPost" and "Reveille". Rev.
Wm. Bennett, Padre of the
Clinton Legion was in charge

picnic of St. Joseph's Church
on Sunday at Stewart Mid-

Mrs. Fred Middleton
returned last week from a ten
day visit in Hamilton with her
daughter and son-in-law Dr.
and Mrs. J. E. Mullens, who
are moving to Ottawa early in
July. Dr. Mullens has been
invited to go to Ottawa Civic
Hospital as Chief of Surgery.
While in Hamilton, Mrs.
Middleton and Mrs. Mullens
spent a day in Toronto
visiting their cousin Mr. and
Mrs. Ritchie McNaughton
and their daughter Mrs. John
Howard.
