Mrs. Ruby Be ll reported for the finance committee and Mrs. Maggie Campbell reported for the visiting committee. Thank you cards were received from Mrs. Isobel Rogerson and Edelweiss visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Flynn. Miss Margaret Hyde of London spent the weekend holiday with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hyde. Dr. Robert McClure and Mrs. McClure of Toronto were weekend guests with Mr. and Mrs. Ron Mock and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Holland, Gwen and Michael of Clinton visited e'cently with Mr. and Mrs. James Sangster and Brad. QUEENSWAY Rebekah Lodge Seaforth. The installation of John Broadfoot United Church Ladies' en- , as Grand Master, and to join in the bus trip on June 28th for - the Past Grands of District to Toronto sponsored by the Pride of Huron Lodge, Exeter. It was arranged to en- tertain Goderich Lodge No. 89 on June 15th with the "Travelling Gavel". Mrs. Pearl Shaddick spent the holiday, weekend with her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. William Shaddick and son Mark in Kitchener. Mr. Eric Luther who has been a patient in Victoria Hospital, London during the past week returned to his home on Saturday. , Miss Dorothy Farquhar of Toronto spent the weekend holiday with her mother Mrs. E'rnma Farquhar. Messers Jack and Al Corbett spend the weekend on a fishing holiday at Silver Lake. Mr. Ed Schroeder who has been receiving treatment in University Hospital, London returned to his home on Saturday. ' Mr. Robert Lavery is a patient in St. Joseph's Hospital, London where he underwent surgery last week. Mrs. Alice Ferg spent the holiday weekend with relatives at Listowel. Dr. Doug Fox of Huron College, London conducted service in Carmel Presbyterian Church .on Sunday. Miss 'Brenda Pepper presided at the organ and led in the service of song. ' Carmichael MacKinnon to Mr. Raymond made a return trip to his Scotchmer, Curator of the Huron County Pioneer Museum, Goderich, on May 7, 1977. John Motyer (formerly -Marny MacKinnon) ac- companied by her hasband and family made a special trip to Clinton from her home in Etobicoke. Also in the party was Mrs. Motyers sister and brother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hunt (Mary MacKinnon) of Brampton. While in Clinton she visited the former home on the hayfield Road of her great3 aunt, Mrs. Clara Jackson: Familiarly known in the family as "Karvu" it is now the Gibb home. It Was as a small child that Clara Rance ,became the recipient of a beautiful doll with hand - painted china face framed by human hair "and beautifully gowned. This was a gift from the Rev. James Carmichael of St. Paul's Cht & who "rode the circuit" and often stayed with little Clara's parents. An immigrant from �. � 1.
