• Mr. and Mrs. Louis Taylor,
accompanied by Mr. and
Mrs. Murray Taylor and
children, flew to Tampa,
-.Florida a week ago Sunday
for a week-long holiday.
Among the places they
visited were the movie Hall of
Fame near Cypress Gardens
and Disney World. The most
enjoyable event they took in
was the Passion Play at Lake
• Whales, which is put on each
year for six weeks preceding
Easter. Another highlight
was a visit to Beatrice's
cousin, Mrs. Howard Scar-
borough of Sun City Centre,
whom she hadn't seen for 30

years. Mrs. Scarborough
retired three years ago from
her position at the White
`House in Washington.

One of the last roads to be
opened in Stanley Township
must have been the one from
the Bannockburn Bridge to
Hully Gully corner, Which
was plowed the end of last

aunts, Mrs. George Reed and
Mrs. Laura Keys on Monday

4-H club was held at the home
of the leader, Mrs. Donald
Cartwright. Presiident Kim
McDowell opened the
meeting with the 4-H pledge.
The minutes were accepted
as read by Vicki Rodger. Roll
call was answered by naming
the topic of the club's
presentation for Achievement
Day and giving five points
when planning it.
The demonstration was on
how to understitch and how to
insert lace or eyelet to a hem.
