been noted for trying to at-

Now, what the group did for
farmers in "The Farm

truck drivers in "18 Wheels".

Thursday, Feb. 17 at 8:30
P.m.
Music for the show is by
John Gray who wrote the
music for the hit show Hor-
sbugh Scandal last year.
Other familiar faces include
Ann Anglin who was one of
the original stars of "The
Farm Show."
Miss Anglin plays the part
of Sadie, the star of the
Hollywood Grill, a truck stop
known for little else but her
charms. The truckers are.
willing to put up with the
horrible food just to meet
her
Also in the story is Molly,
the wife of an independent
trucker who is having a hard
time Vntil Molly .insists on
going along on the trips and
becomes a top-notch trucker
herself.
John Miracle, in charge of
publicity for the show, says
that the theatre group is
making a big" effort to get
truckers themselves to come
out to the show. Publicity is
centring on truck stops across
the province in areas where
the show will tour. The accent
in Blyth
throughout will be on. the

Ontario citizens "'have -
responded positively to ap-
peals from the Ministry of
Energy and Ontario Hydro to,
cut back on the consumption
of electricity.
According to Hydra
estimates, at least 350,000
kilowatts were saved on
critical days during.
December's power crunch.
That represents about the_
peak load of the city of
London.
Although the response
occurred in an emergency
situation, Hydro Chairman
Robert B. Taylor says, "It
does show •what can be
achieved if everyone
becomes energy conscious."
Urging that this type of
conservation should be
practised every day of the

emergencies, Mr. Taylor
notes, "Individual customers
save on their bills, of course,
if they use less."
"But in terms of capital
investment, if Hydro could
count on that 350,000 -kilowatt
reduction, as permanent and
reduce its long term building
plans accordingly, the saving
would be in the order of at
least $350 million and that
says nothing of • the fuel
savings," Mr. Taylor said.
