The Clinton Kinsmen
PeeWee's lost their home
opener this past weekend, a
real heartbreaker for the
locals. as Arthur scored the
winning goal with only six
seconds remaining in the
game.
They fought back from a 3-1
deficit early in the third
period to tale the score 3-3 and
Arthur blew their' des of a
victory in the final minute.. ,
Clinton sharp -shooters
were Paul Stephenson, Brad
Hymers and Ian Peek.
The pegs wees have
salvaged a tie against one
defeat so far this season, and
are hoping for a big victory
this weekend.

scored at the 8:12 mark of the
sudden -death overtime
period last Thursday night in
Clinton tolift the Coltsto a 5-4
victory over the Kincardine
Bulldogs.
This was the first encounter
of the year that required an
overtime period to decide the
winners. The rule originated
at the league meetings in
Harriston earlier this year.

Randy Marriage notched

Shawn Gautreau played a
steady game in goal for the
Clinton youngsters.
In the second game, Lowell
Barnes' team of Goderich

Notching the only marker for
Clinton was Scott Kay.
Mid -week games scores

Clinton bantams
nip Harriston
On Saturday November 13,
the Clinton Bantams played
Harriston in Palmerston
winning 3-2.
Dunlop and Bell replied for
the Bulldogs. Al Carter
played goal for the Colts and
recorded his first win of the
young season.
Friday night in Mitchell the
Colts fired 53 shots at the
Mitchell goaltender but still
were .beaten as the Red
Devils edged the Colts 5-4.
Terry . Craig scored the
winner with less than two
minutes to give , the Red
Devils their fourth straight
wip. It was Craig's second
tattle of the game while Mike
Walsh, Bill 1VIcLaughlin and
Don Hewitt added singles.
Netting the twine for the
Colts were Paul Kelly, Rick
Frernlin, Victor Kennedy'and
defenseman- Danny
Colquhoun. Dennis
Fleischauer played goal and
played it extremely well as
the Colts played their worst
game of the year.

The curling season is
divided into three six week
draws and each draw will
feature a ladies' fun night and
supper, and a mixed fun
night.
Try it and you'll get hooked.
Curling is the easiest sport for
a rookie. You can come right
out and play. Compared with
other sports there's not really
much involved in the way of
equipment until you become
more proficient and then you
get into things like proper
and dropped their second
game of the year to the
Sunocos as they were out-
scored 9-7.
Going into the third period
the clubs were locked in a 5-5
tie but the Sunocos fired four
goals by 9 goaltender Rick
Welsh while his teammates
could only manage two goals.
Dean Symons led Port Elgin
with three. goals. Rick Schell
had two while solo efforts
went to Jim McKinnon, .Al
Blair, Dan Fryday and Dave
Fryday.
Colt marksmen were Paul
Kelly and Danny Colquhoun
with two goals each while

The Clinton Juveniles beat
Walkerton 111-6 Sunday at the
local arena-
After Walkerton took a one
goal lead early in the game,
the toes jumped ahead 34
only to see the first period end
at 31;3.
Ithe second period.
Clinton pumped in five
unanswered goals and
another early in the third.
The lead withstood a late
Walkerton rally and Clinton
closed with the final goal of
the game.
Paul Priestap hit for three,
Dave Clynick and Neii
Colquhoun two each and
singles to Steve Campbell*
Dave Archibald and Dave
Counter.
Ripley provide the op-
position for the Juveniles.
Saturday at 8:30 p.m., the
