business meeting. The roll
call was answered by "things
to be thankful for".

Hay reeve • to ruin again
Jack Tinney, reeve of Hay
township says he is .definitely
planning to run for the
position of reeve in the
coming municipal election.
However, the remainder of
the council members are not
quite so definite.
Mr. Tinney asked the other
members of his council to
decide for certain whether
they intend to run for council
before the next regular
meeting of council on
November 1 and make a
definite statement at that
time. . '
Thiswas confirmed by
-deputy reeve..Joe Miller who
says he hasn't decided yet but
will have before the next
council meeting along with
everyone else on council.
Otter members of the Hay
council" are Lionel Wilder,
Mrs. Livermore reported
for flowers and cards and
Mrs. B. Hearn reported 45
home and 24 hospital calls
having been made the past
month. Mrs. L. Ball stated a
church bale would be packed
in November. The unit is to be
reponsible . for coffee hour.
October 31 after the morning
service.- The Huronviiew tea
was held October 26. The
UCW Christmas party is on
December 1.
It was decided to have the
December unit meeting on
December 14, because of
other commitments. and
Mrs. F. Cummings and
committee are in charge of
the November 18 meeting.
The Country Market is fast
approaching, November 6
and things must be finished
and in by November 5. Mrs.
Rathwell closed the meeting.
