Masons host Detroit peers
Clinton Masons hosted their
American Brethren from
Berkley Lodge; near Detroit,
Saturday October 16.
The visitors were con-
ducted on a tour of several
historic sites in the area and
were very much impressed
with the county museum in
Goderich.
After a bountiful meal
served by the ladies of the
Eastern Star in the Anglican
Church's Fellowship hall, the
members and guests
returned to the lodge rooms.
A first degree was ex'em-
piffled for the' benefit of the
guests whose degree work is
slightly different than that in
Canada. Following Lodge. a
fellowship hour was enjoyed
by all.
Sunday morning, after
assembling at the Lodge, the
officers , and members
rriarOted to Ontario Street
Unica. Church.
This well-received occasion
was the first church parade in
several years and it appears
as thorigh it will be a yearly
event.
