Aiken was president of the tomen's Ausiliary in the United Church ants' Well as president and, life member of the WMS. She was also active in the Allenford United Church Choir and the Ontario Street United Church choir and sunday school. Mrs. Aiken was predeceased by her husband. Surviving her are two sons, Willard A. and Arthur M. as well as one daughter. Mrs. Donald E. Symons (Florence) all of Clinton. Mrs. Aiken is also survived by seven grandchildren. The funeral was held September 11 at the Ball Funeral Home, Clinton with Rev. L. Lewis officiating. Interment followed at the Clinton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bruce Bartliff, John Lavis, Robert Taylor, all of Clinton, Alvin Lobb of Centralia and grandsons John Aiken and David Aiken. Flower bearers were granddaughters, Marilyn Aiken, Toronto; Barbara Symons, London; Cathy Aiken, Ottawa; Lorrie Symons, Toronto and Jane Symons, Clinton. Mrs. Clara Needham Mrs. ` Clara Needham passed away after a lengthy illness, September 6 in her 67th year. She was a daughter of the late Harry and Maggie Gould of Clinton, and attended public and high school in Clinton. She graduated from the Stratford General Hospital as an R.N. -She and her husband lived «febmler , John Leslie 'biller' die4 Septeanber 14 in the Clinton Public floSPitesi, He was 66. Mr. Miller was born o April 10. 1910 to Henry and Rhoda Ann 411l1er in Holmesvitie. He was a labourer with the Canadian National Railway until he retired to Clinton in 197E Mr. Miller, who was single, survived by one suer, Freda, Mrs. Robert'Leonard Evans, Toronto. He was predeceased by two sisters, Resella May and Mary Violet and two brothers, William H. and Fred R. A committal service was held September 13 at the Beattie Funeral Home, Clinton with Rev. J. Oestreicher officiating. Interment was in White Chapel Memorial Gardens Hamilton, Ontario.
