Brucefield, and his wife Betty married 53 years were the longest married couple and David and Debbie Patton of Mount Elgin. 22 days. the shortest. Betty (Aikenhead ) McGregor wore the same hat and dress she wore on her wedding•day on April 2). 1.923. For Debbie Patton wearing her wedding gown. and David. the vows were most familiar. They were married on June 12. While friends and families watched. the couples renewed their Marriage Com- mitments. A number of brides " wore their wedding gowns. even if the fit wasn't quite the same. Steve Thompson and Wayne 'i'bbutt's senior boys played an excellent game with Colborne at Benmiller, losing 9-4. Goderich• Township had trouble surpassing the skills of Colborne's tough pitchers.
