BVI plans dinner
Mrs. Bernice Mcllwain
presided for the Goderich
Township Women's Institute
meeting held in the
aLditorium of the Holmesville
Public School on June 14.
The roll call was answered
by describing an "old-
fashioned remedy.**
Plans were made to serve
lunch to the Grade 8
Graduation Class and their
parents on June 23.
On July 12, the group plans
to attend the picnic on Mrs.
Burnett's lawn at 3:00 p.m. A
pot luck picnic lunch is to be
served at 5:15 p.m.
The film "How..to.Say NO to
a Rapist and Survive" was
shown.
A social hour was enjoyed
during lunch and a game of
*Chinese Auction.
Mersin Prayer was bill
at St. James .Church
(Anglican) Middleton Suede),
at 11:15 with Rev. Wm.
Sennett in charge. •
The Annual Galilaean
Service and pot tuck picnic
will take place at Stewart

In the storm last week, a
large machine at Marcon
Concrete gravel pit. was
turned on its side doing very
much damage.
Jack and Marion Smith and
Lloyd are now living in their
new home at RR 0. Goderich.
Our best wishes go to Marion
and Jack.
Father's Day at Jack
Smiths turned out to be a real
father's day, as each member
of his family. 33 in all. turned
out to a steak barbecue with
Greg Castrenas in charge of
the barbecues. A very happy
day for the Smith family at
Jack and Marion's new home.
Congratulations go to
Janice Middleton on
receiving her Specialists
teaching certificate from
Ontario Ministry of
Education. Janice is on staff
at Roberts School for the hard
of hearing London. Janice is
also looking forward to being
a news reporter for the
Stratford Beacon Herald.
Ed and Blanche Deeves
spent Sunday afternoon
visiting in the Southwold area
and attended Littlewood
church to hear the Albanaires
of London iti concert. They
enjoyed a social time with•my
old neighbors and friends.
We are all pleased to hear

fishermen- last week didn't
