She and her mother, father and sister will benefit from a special commitment made by Wm. R. Rodger of Auburn through Foster Parents Plan of Canada. Mr. Rodger will make a $17 monthly contribution toward the care of Fanni .Mirtha. This will add greatly to the family's spending power since the total income of the Campos' is 539 per month. Mr. Campos is a barber. The family lives in a single room house with a dirt floor, painted walls and a cloth ceiling coated with plaster. The furniture consists of two cots, one table, one glass cabinet. one small table and a night table; a small radio, one box; and the necessary kitchen utensils. They are fortunate to have electricity and running water. but there is no bathroom facilities. The budget runs something like this: electricity. 90 cents per month; kerosene. 60 cents; bread, $7.50.; meat. $9; potatoes. 54; vegetables. 54: sugar, S3: rice, 53; noodles, $4; schooling., 51.50; and transportation. 51.50. The Campos have no relatives that can help them. Clothes are purchased once per year. Mirtha goes to school at Matiloe Carmona De Bush. about two kilometers from her home. She ts•six years old and in kindergarten. Her sister, Elena Aurora is only two, and still at home. • ,HANLY - The family of the late H.M.
