FROZEN FOOD VALUES

Were: silk of the weather! Weei e iteet! _ ..
Tired; Tired! Even our meals seem "bliih"
'—let's do something about it, let's "open
a can of sunshine" from our Ontario orch-
ards. In 1975 the orchards of Ontario pro-
AUced--a bumper crop of delicious "tender
fruits" — what . are they? Peaches, pears,
cherries, fruit cocktail and plums you`d
find them in abundance in your A&P Food
Stores — labelled CANADA'S CHOICE.
Spark up your breakfast, lunch or supper
by using them in your desserts, main
courses or just snack on them — firm,
colourful and fresh — they'll bring "spring-
time" early for you.
Try the following recipe—for moist, delici-
ous muffins, just perfect for adding to
lunches to pep them up — or serving to
the coffee club, and it is only one that
the Ontario Food Council has supplied for
your pleasure — if you would like more —
just write to us and we'll happily pass
them along to you.
