Church in Clinton marked two anniversaries at .a spacial
service on Sunday. They celebrated both the 5$th an-
niversary of the formation of the United Church, and lite
Centennial of the town. Fallodring the service, a birthday

measuring 30 incites square.
Each box will contain one
tree, and a flanking ground
coven. Estimated cost is $50
per planter.
Fire tate last Tursday
afternoon completely
destroyed a chicken barn on
the farm of Dirk- Westerhout
on the Base Line Road, six
miles north of Clinton. The
fire killed about 8,000 month-
old broiler chicks, and total
damage could run as high as
$50,000 to the barn and its
contents.

to University Hospital in
London where their condition
is satisfactory. Two other
youths, Richard McWilliam"
and Mark Harris, .both of

condition in Clinton Public
Hospital.

Wolves at one time were
seemingly extinct in Huron
County, but recent action by
township councils within the
county 'indicates that the
animals are . increasing in
numbers* and ' becoming a
problem.
Herb Clarkof the ministry
of natural resources in
W inghanr stated that the •
ministry .has received several
resolutions from township
councils in Huron County to
reinstate the wolf bunny. He
also anticipates that all of the
townships will: eventually ask
for the reinstatement of the
bounty. —

service to the hospital, nine as director. She was
