The Ken Miley family of
Londesboro have been camping
at. the river back of Irvine
Tebbutts on and- off for a
month. They weren't there the
weekend -of the big rain tho, and
now things have dried up a bit
are busy bunting for things
which were moved by the high
meters.

St Catherines for a few days.
Mrs. Lurena Howes of
• London and Mr. and Mrs. Ernie
McCartney of Saskatchewan
were recent visitors with the
Tebbutts.
Tom Loff is off on a fishing
-.trip to Algonquin Provincial
Park.
Dave and Madelaine Bartlett
and family headed north for a
camping holiday but had car
trouble and had to cut their trip
short. They got as far as
Cochrane before they headed
back for North Bay hoping to
get repairs. "Lady Luck"
didn't ride that far and at Trout
Creek they were stranded.
Repairs aren't easily come by
up here and as Dave found out
people in Toronto don' t care if
yoU are stranded miles away
from home. They had one gond
week of camping however, and.
the kids really enjoyed„ it.
Madelaine's sister Jean has
been visiting here recently and
Dave's parents were here on
the Labor Day holiday.
Don and Alison Lobb and
family spent a few days with
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Allen in
Toronto recently and the Aliens
were up -...b thetobb farm last
week.
Liz Thompson is home from
her trip to the West. Steve was
West too for a three weekjaunt
on his motor bike. Marion has
retumedirom her job at Jasper
Park and is away camping in
Algonquin Park. This is partof
her Schooling ..to-kally she is
having fun and is at school.
Peter attended r the CANAM
Hockey School at Guelph this
summer.
Marlene Forbes, Sylvia and
Barb spent a week camping at
Pine Lake. Barb spent a week
as aper and Sylvia spent a
week as a camper and a week

bourhood/fast. Gerry Lobb left ,
for Wilfrid Laurier University
in Waterloo early as he had to

Marion Thompson is on her
camping trip in Algonquin Park
before she starts the bookwork
at the University of Guelph.
Ernie Lobb and Brenda
Forbes are starting their first
year at Fanshawe College.
Eleanor Lobb has started her
job at the Stratford General
Hospital and George Thompson
is back to Fanshawe College
again.
Tom Lobb will soon be off to
0Uvetphity. of Guelph for his
final year.
